Holmen Coin Laundry opened way back in 1973!

However, the current owner, Karl Maas, has owned the building since 1997. Karl was worried about the continuing decline of the airline industry and potentially losing his job. In order to have a second option to support his family, Karl decided to buy the laundromat.

Since that time, he has worked incredibly hard to improve the building, take care of his customers, and become an integrated part of the Holmen community. He receives great gratification from being a small business owner, loves serving the Holmen community, and takes immense pride in how he operates his business. Although the airline industry has since recovered and Karl continues to travel the world, he always manages to find his way back home to the Holmen area.
